Week 10: 52 Week Creative Photo Challenge

My challenge for Week 10 was to create a cinemagraph (a still photo where part of the image moves). We had a couple of major issues right off the bat:

Issue 1. The lighting was awful. I was expecting a nice grey, cloudy sky. The weather app totally lied to me. Instead, the sun was out and there wasn't a cloud in the sky.

Issue 2. There were a ton of other people around, and at least two other photo shoots.

Issue 3. It was windy. So, so, windy. But the wind ended up helping with the motion of the trees behind them in the image below.

In the end we managed to create one cinemagraph and get a few photos of this sweet couple, Kära and Matt. They were great about posing and moving around to accomodate lighting, wind and people. They are completely adorable together too, which definitely helped make the shoot fun (and rather silly).

You can see the rest of the images in the gallery below the cinemagraph!
