Week 21: 52 Week Creative Portrait Challenge

My challenge for Week 21 was to shoot in a modern glamour style for fellow photographer Charlene. I used a lot of soft natural light and wide open apertures to create this look. I have previously shot like this, but I have been gravitating towards high contrast strobe lighting recently. It was a good reminder that I need to constantly shoot outside of my comfort zone, and to continue to learn everything I can. I love how beautiful Charlene's smile is in all of these photos. The multi-talented Jessica Bosley of House of Bosley contributed her awesome makeup + hair styling skills for this shoot. I have added a few of my favorites to the gallery below!
